Spectral Manifest was a multimedia performance reading organised by the Technoshamanism movement. 

 

The performance was centered around the Brumadinho disaster, when mineral overexploitation killed a river in the southeast of Brasil and the subtle forces animated to and fro.

In the performance, a single channel video installations served as the backdrop for the animated reading of the Manypheste Spectral, a meditation about the inanimate forces in play around the natural disaster as well as the animated necropolitical atmosphere that enabled such a disaster.

Produced with Raise Inocencio and Alice Turnbull and performed in the conference “Ce Qui Dépend de Nous” in the Gaite Lyrique under the curation of MarieLechner, as well as in other venues.
